LED Lights 

All Deluxe awnings come pre-installed with a 600mm LED light strip in the back, allowing you to easily switch between anti-insect amber and white light. This light can be powered by a cigarette plug or hardwired depending on your preference.

Stainless Steel Adjustable Brackets (Set of 3)

FAQ's

Will a Clevershade be a good fit for my vehicle?

Yes! With eight models to choose from we’re almost certain we have an awning that will suit your vehicle. We have awnings perfect for everything from a three-door Jimny to a fully built US Truck! We know you want to get it right, so feel free to contact our team if you’d like some assistance finding the best product for your setup.

What brackets do I need?

Our Deluxe model awnings are all offered with universal L-shape brackets that are easy to install on most roof racks. The brackets are made from 316 stainless steel and are height adjustable. Some third party brackets will also be compatible, so please contact us if you’d like to check.

The unique design of the Ultra-Lite means it requires a more specific fitment kit. We currently offer fitment kits to suit the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform (series 4, 5, 6), Front Runner Slimline II, Yakima LNL, and the ARB Base Rack. We also have an option to fit Rhino Rack HD feet.

Is a Clevershade easy to install?

In most cases, yes! The Deluxe awning universal brackets are so simple it often surprises customers. You can check out the instructions here. The Ultra-Lite fitment is a bit more technical, but we have instructions to assist you specific to the relevant roof rack. If you’d like more information on Ultra-Lite installation for your particular roof rack, get in touch and our team will be happy to help!

Do you offer install services?

Yes, we do. If you’d like your Clevershade installed by us in our Gold Coast workshop, please get in touch to arrange an appointment. We can also recommend installers in other states if required.

Is the awning waterproof?

We manufacture our awnings using a waterproof canvas. Our slick awning design also means its tautness aids water run-off. Check out the video here.

Do I need to use legs or ropes with a Clevershade?

All Clevershade awnings are true freestanding awnings, which means we don’t manufacture or sell poles or ropes. Clevershade awnings have all been wind tested and rated to give you a guide on what the awning can withstand. Of course everything has a breaking point (ours is just higher than most others) so we include eyelets on the end of each arm in case you do want to use poles or ropes in certain conditions. We recommend Tiegear products.

Why are your awnings lighter than other freestanding awnings?

Design and materials are the two main reasons our awnings are the lightest of their type on the market. The canvas we use is made just for us, and forms part of the structure of the awning itself. This means we’re not purely reliant on the arms for strength so we can use slimmer, lighter weight arms.

The unique design of the Ultra-Lite range does away with the backbone built into most traditional awnings, which saves even more weight.

Can the awning be repaired if I break it?

Yes, most parts of the awning are replaceable, so if you come unstuck, there’s no need to throw your awning away! Get in touch and we’ll be able to assist you with parts and repair service. 

Do you have a wall kit available?

Our Deluxe 270 awning is wall kit compatible and single walls or an entire kit are available for purchase. The Ultra-Lite range has been designed as a pure sun shade, so hasn’t been designed with a wall kit in mind.

Do your awnings have lights built in?

The Deluxe range has a 600mm three colour light built in as standard with each awning. The Ultra-Lite doesn’t have a built-in light because we’ve designed it to be as lightweight as possible.

What is the warranty?

All Clevershade awnings have a one year warranty, with a five year guarantee on the canopy stitching.
